The Linux+ and LPIC-1 certification exams have become the two most
popular beginning level Linux certifications.   This will be the first
of a series of talks about Linux basics inspired by the objectives
used in these exams.   The talks are designed to be training for Linux
newbie's and a good review for veterans.
I will talk about the two exams, and then go over a few of the objectives
(103.1, 103.4, 103.2, 103.7) that have to do with working on
the command line.   If we have time, I will also go over some objectives
(102.5, 102.4) about package management.

WE WILL BE IN ROOM CC201, on the 2nd floor of BTC's
new Campus Center Building.
